As creative as ever, Erector is launching a brand new range for the 7/12 year age group in time for the end of 2010: Erector Xtreme, which uses a faster and easier construction system.
The innovation is in the new threaded metal bars: the screw thread is integrated. No more bolts which were often too tricky for the young hands to manipulate. The screws fit quickly straight into the metal bars.
Xtreme still bears the unmistakable Erector stamp. The threaded bars are entirely compatible with the old perforated strips. At any time the children can customise the vehicles suggested or do away with the instructions and make up new more ingenious and handsome models.
Xtreme is a dynamic, flashy new line which jostles standards! It mixes metal and plastic in a novel way and lets you build fast functional cars. Fluorescent, orange, turquoise blue, green, red and transparent, the new plastic pieces are coloured and give the vehicles a totally extreme look!
